Back in the beginning of my photography journey, I had asked friends of friends if I could take their portraits for free. I would experiment with lighting and fine tune my personal photography style. One of these portrait subjects was Skye. Some of my favorite photos early in my journey featured Skye and her radiant smile.

Almost a decade later, Skye reached out to let me know she was engaged and immediately thought of me to photograph their intimate, private residence wedding. To say I was honored is an understatement! A few weeks later, I photographed their engagement session and am still just absolutely obsessed with how the photos turned out.

They chose to hold their engagement session in the city of Claremont in Los Angeles. The couple frequently visited Claremont for date nights. This quaint city featured a historic neighborhood with beautiful architecture and charming mom-and-pop shops. It was the perfect backdrop for their Los Angeles engagement session!
