I connected with Brenah through the photography masterclass that we’re both part of last summer. She was looking for a photographer for her 1 year vow renewal in Yosemite in the fall, and I immediately messaged her to let her know that I was interested. I had never visited Yosemite before, but what better way than to explore than at a portrait session!
The experience driving through Yosemite National Park was something I had never experienced before. I have never seen such vast beauty before. We arrived to the park with Brenah wearing her original wedding gown- a Satin ballgown by Calla Blanche. We explored the picturesque El Capitan and Cook’s Meadows, creating new memories in her wedding dress. Right before sunset, she changed into a whimsical, blush gown by Costyle Designs where her and her husband Raymond reread their vows to each other near Taft Point. To say their Yosemite vow renewal was an emotional experience is an understatement.
It’s hard to take a bad photo in Yosemite. There is natural beauty everywhere you look. You can’t help but feel inspired by the epic landscapes. I couldn’t be more excited to return to Yosemite in Spring 2023 for my sister’s anniversary session with her husband! It’ll be their first time to Yosemite, and an amazing family trip for everyone.
