Denice & Abe

Denice, a proud Filipino, and Abe, hailing from a rich Japanese heritage, embarked on their love story during their college years. Their connection deepened as they both pursued medical degrees, supporting each other through the rigorous demands of their studies. And all of their hard work has paid off as they’ve both recently completed their residencies! Their unwavering commitment and shared dreams laid the foundation for their unbreakable bond, leading them on a path towards happily ever after.

Their Future Nuptials

In the fall, Denice and Abe will exchange their vows at the breathtaking Immaculata Catholic Church in San Diego. This historic venue, known for its grandeur and beauty, will serve as the perfect backdrop for their sacred union. Following the ceremony, the couple has chosen the Omni La Costa Hotel and Spa in Carlsbad to host their unforgettable reception. With its luxurious ambiance and impeccable service, the Omni La Costa will create a magical atmosphere for their celebration.

Denice and Abe’s wedding promises to be a grand affair, with over 200 guests eagerly awaiting the joyous union. The merging of their Filipino and Japanese families will undoubtedly create an atmosphere filled with vibrant colors, heartfelt traditions, and rich cultural customs. The couple’s desire to honor their heritage while embracing their future together adds a touch of uniqueness to their special day.

Their San Diego Engagement Session

Before their wedding day, Denice and Abe embarked on an engagement photoshoot in their beloved city of San Diego. With the sun-kissed beaches and stunning cityscapes as their backdrop, their love story was beautifully captured. The first location for their shoot was the picturesque Coronado Island, in front of the iconic Hotel del Coronado. The golden sands and glistening waters perfectly mirrored the radiance of their love. They then ventured to the enchanting Balboa Park, with its lush gardens and stunning architecture, to capture the essence of their connection in a more serene setting.

As the day of their wedding draws near, they eagerly anticipate the culmination of their extraordinary love story. Their wedding, a magnificent celebration uniting two families and cultures, promises to be an unforgettable affair.
